The Outbreak 0

If you want a quick zombie fix head over to The Outbreak. It’s an exceptionally well-made film that forces you to make some tough choices. You won’t be able to stop yourself from playing through all the options. Check out their MySpace page after you’ve watched the film and let them know what you thought.

Rigor Mortis 0

Got Rigor Mortis from Leeking Inc. recently. Great reviews from zombie afficionados DeadVida and Dread Sockett. It’s nice to see that the old zine culture hasn’t died out. Sure, this could all be put up on the net (and some of it is), but there’s something special about ordering a printed copy and waiting for it to arrive. Highlights in issue one are a review of the gritty Day By Day Armageddon by J.L. Bourne, glowing reviews of Recht’s Morningstar series, and a centrefold on the guru of gore, Tom Savini. I’m really looking forward to reading their review of The Walking Dead in issue two.

Highly recommended.
