Found it hard to get anyone to play this with me this week, so all I can say is that it looks like it would be great if you could collect a bunch of zombie fans in one place. I had to explain most of the basics of the genre.

The betrayals are unnerving and could even lead to real arguments if the players really got into it. Some good pics here

Didn’t get around to reading this until now for some reason. The B&W images are probably more effective than full colour: bleak and allows for Very compelling.

The Walking Dead Volume 1

Excited when I heard that Survivors was being remade. Having watched all three seasons of the original I was prepared for the worst, but it isn’t bad at all. Not as eerie as the original, with a faster pace and a bland opening sequence, the new version follows a similar storyline. This clip shows Abby discovering her predicament.

The characters face some of the same difficult choices as they try to preserve civilisation -- the programme isn’t afraid to make those choices result in violence. Wasn’t keen on the ex-con character in the first episode as I thought he might just be an obvious threat, but his attempts to shrug off his past life has given him depth. I’m glad they kept most of the names of the original characters even if they have been updated for the 21st century.  It’s just a case of accepting the differences while enjoying the changes. Looking forward to more from this and glad to see another old BBC series revived.
