Had to get hold of Survivors when I heard about it. I think I must have seen it years ago but very vague on it. First series is excellent, as is generally agreed, but the second and third have their good points. The tooth and claw approach to survival is authentic and grim.

The slow pace of the earlier episodes is very satisfying, with the survivors stumbling upon each other and gradually realising that everything -- including law and order -- depends on them. The series still has a very strong fan following, with lots of information on sites like Survivors: A World Away and Survivors: Mad Dog by the dedicated Rich Cross.
